About me
Born in 1952, I am an Austrian psychotherapist, author and traveller living in Innsbruck, Tyrol.
After being an AFS foreign exchange student in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, in 1972, I was first an English and Geography teacher in Secondary School.
After being only a "mere" mother and housewife for many years, and doing volunteer work in the integration and rehabilitation of mentally ill people, I was later providing psychological support to the small schools in the mountain valleys as an outpatient counselling teacher.
From 1999 onwards I have been working as a psychotherapist in my own practice. In addition to training in psychodrama and cognitive therapy, I am deeply rooted in Jungian psychoanalysis. I combine all my knowledge in an integrated way, have specialised in dream analysis and offer live and online workshops.
I have also been practising oriental dance for more than 30 years and have a training in "Dervish whirling dance, oriental healing methods and Sufi meditation" with the ethnologist, Arabist and Sufi techer Dr Rosina Al Rawi, Vienna - Jerusalem - Baghdad.
Loving the world and its different cultures and peoples, I have travelled extensively, and my daughters and 5 grandchildren live in Mexico and in London-Paris-Marrakesh.
I am supporting member of www.integrallife.com and www.eurotas.world.
My deepest heartfelt concern is the connection and mediation between the different worlds, cultures and religiones, both externally and internally. between the conscious and the unconscious, between body, mind, soul and spirit and understanding myself as a spiritual, co-creative evolutionary human being.
